They Think, Therefore They Am...

Brenda has just tagged my Holy-Schmidt site with a thinking blogger award. Bless her for this very catholic act, (especially considering my latest limbo rant). In all fairness, I think Brenda would be a very good limbo dancer. She can rex on roller skates and I'd be willing to bet she can do it while blowing a bubble inside a bubble with her Bubblicious, talking on her cell phone and tracking her Bush fitness points.

So in the spirit of paying it forward, I am going to tag team eight other bloggers who always make my gray matter work overtime, for reasons easily apparent if you spend more than 3 seconds on their blogs.

Beast Mom

I know I was supposed to only do five, but I'm nothing if not a non-conformist. And other words best left unmentioned.

So Great Eight Thinkers 'o Mine, if you're reading this, kindly steal the blog award image, post it on your own site and go ahead and tag a few others if you so choose. I'll let you think on that though, and come to your own decision.

Just don't think about it too long....

"I think therefore I am. I think."

Oh, hey, don't forget cas. http://aginghippies.spaces.live.com/

Congratulations on the Thinking Blogger, Holy. If anyone deserves it, you do.

Yes, cas always elicits some kind of neural firing - sometimes in very interesting directions. And he's food for the soul...even though I never see him lurking around these parts anymore, he's still required reading in my books. I figured either you or Lynn could take care of cas on your pay-it-forward list.

How'd you know about my limbo-bilities? Not only are you a thinker, but you read between the lines like nobody's business. :)

Now I'm off to read the thinkers on your list. Happy Mom's day, oh Holy One.

Congrats on your thinking blogger award! I wholeheartedly agree, you are amazing, every post is erudite as hell - you push me to work a little harder at it. :)

Now I have lots of blogwalking to do.

And thanks. :)

Oooh, now I have to write smart stuff for a while. As opposed to my smart-a++ stuff. :) Thx for the fun "award".

I'd speechify and thank all my producers and sponsors and such, but I'm too brain-dead from working all last week/weekend. I don't know how FT working mommies do it. I'll have to ease my way back into the workforce apparently. My wee brain can't handle the smack, plus I'm feeling supremely old w/ my 20 yr reunion quickly approaching. A high school friend of mine emailed and told me to get out my walker for the reunion! Good grief! I'm not THAT old yet! :)

I'm gonna put cas up for the award.
I was gonna say "i'm nailing cas" but then I realized how that would look...
See...not such a good idea you had, making me one of the Thinkers, now was it, Holy? ;)

Thank you for the honor!!!

I just spent more than an hour reading first your MSNblog then this one. Having seen your name in other people's comments for a long time, I don't know why i haven't spent some time here before this. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I am planning on moving to the US in the summer so it will be an experience. I lived in the US for a few years a decade ago. Take care SAAM

Sorry, but as a matter of principle, I don't play tag. At the same time, I thank you for the compliment of including my site with these excellent folks. Anyone who wants to visit is always welcome. Now, I'll have to work harder to sustain your faith :-)
Be well,

Holy cow Holy Schmidt! I did not know about this blog before.... You must have three of them. Here I go check your other blog and fond a post about every 10 days and this is where you actually live. No wonder nobody's ever home.... Thanks for the honor of being on the Holy 8 list. I have never ever been on any Holy list before.... Awesome...I can add it to my resume. Now I am scrolling down to see what I have been missing.

heh heh heh yeah.
Mike thinks Laura is deliberately trying to ensure she never has a little brother/sister. She does seem to be trying her hardest. She's busted in on us twice, despite locked doors, a chain, AND her being dead asleep before we tried to tryst. The child is truly determined.

And mayhap we are esoteric twins. I'll take that claim to fame anyday--entwined with Holy. Wow.

well hey, thank you Holy one. I need some time to read all these folk and ponder on this, but you are a sweetie (and have extremely good taste!) ;)
