As I mentioned on Tanya's blog, my family has a twisted tradition of buying a box of peeps (the original chick-shaped ones) to microwave. They enjoy seeing how big they can puff them up in the microwave without exploding them. (And yes, they clean up any unfortunate peep-y explosions)
